Outer Musings is part of a series of small exhibitions, Lost Intentions///Found Purposes, which is in, and about the CalArts Library. We were asked to curate and design a group of books, periodicals, or documents from the library in a way that would offer new ways of seeing and understanding the holdings.
I created an installation of ten original poems using the color and titles of books. The book groupings represent a new way to read the collection of the library...Poetry can be found in the library, without ever even having to take the books off the shelf.
